We Need YOU! To Ask Us About PCWs
3 Dec, 2002 | Mestr | Updated 20 Dec by CLX |
44 comments
Ok, after a few weeks of idling at IRC, playing only 3-4 praccs a week and using taccs-as-we-go, we're ready to play hardball. We need good praccs, I repeat GOOD, every weekday at 19:00 and 21:00 CET (And no, good does not mean a gatherteam with good players).
Message the WA (thats me, mestr) in our channel to book a PCW, and don't be offended if I say no :).
While we're on the subject, we want to set some ground rules for people playing against us:
1: No gatherclans. I don't care if you're thinking about starting a new clan but want to test the team first, gatherclans are the work of the devil and lead to no good.
2: Use realnick and the proper tag. This is mainly to keep the pracc at a serious level, as most people play more focused when they use realnicks and represent their clan.
3: Don't expect the pcw to be your second IRC. We talk on IRC and play in pcws (and CB). We hope you won't be offended by this, it's just to keep the pracc at a more serious level.
4: A pracc is NOT an official match. Just because we play serious doesn't mean we play to win. If we find out you've been bragging about beating/almost beating us in a pcw, you can't expect playing us again.
5: If we pracc for instance B1 rushes, don't alter your positions as CT to keep us from rushing. It's a pracc, remember?
6: "Ping only" comments were funny the first 10001 times we heard them, now they're just old. If we agree on playing on our server, don't leave after 1 minute just because we have 5 ping on it.
7: We only play boys wearing nothing but green dockers.

Naitzo Leaves X-Pec
30 Nov, 2002 | Mestr | Updated 20 Dec by CLX |

Naitzo decided earlier this month that he couldn't afford travelling back and forth to "h0let" where we're playing in LAN, and therefore moved his computer back home. When he said that he wasn't coming back for at least a couple of months, we asked if he wanted to be put as inactive or just quit, because playing with him on teamspeak was out of the question.
He found out that being inactive was not a solution for him, as he wanted to play active with a clan on the net. This naturally means that he has to quit X-Pec, and we wish him gl in his future clans. We'll miss your awp ;|
Concerning the x-pec team, el-lobo is taking over naitzos spot, as he has been playing for us the last 3 weeks. We are quite confident that he will be as much of an asset to the team as naitzo was. Wish us gl :)

Havana Club Defeats X-Pec
13 Nov, 2002 | Pibbz |
7 comments
Today we lost the final in the norwegian cup against Havana Club, consiting of former Team Spacebar members bsl, Slick Silver and Luke, and former Aftermath players Odin and Xistenz. We just didnt have the day, and Havana won too many easy rounds. This is not the place for excuses though, the best team won, but we'll hopefully grow on this cup experience and become a stronger team in the future. GG Havana and thx to the admins, who hopefully learned a LOT from this cup too.
